The US China Innovation and Investment Summit (UCIS) provides a unique opportunity for U.S.-based technology companies to connect with investors, strategic partners, leading incubators/accelerators, and professional service firms from China. UCIS was listed as one of the key programs in the science and technology area for the first U.S.-China Social and Cultural Dialogue (SCD) which was co-chaired by former U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong on September 28, 2017, in Washington. D.C. President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping launched the SCD in April 2017, at Mar-a-Lago.

2018 UCIS Overview
UCIS and InnoSTARS included the conference forum, US-China innovation and investment cooperation, US-China medical cooperation, US-China medical device cooperation and other sub-forums, US-China innovation and investment cooperation project promotion conference, 2018 InnoSTARS Houston Preliminary, as well as exhibitions and business meetings. More than 400 representatives from enterprises and institutions in the fields such as Biomedicine and Medical Devices, Information and Communication Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality, Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection, Advanced Manufacturing, New Energy and New Materials were invited to the summit.
2017 UCIS Overview
2017 UCIS was supported by 77 organization, participated by 150 Chinese representatives and 290 US representatives, organizing 7 sub-sessions and 300 matchmaking meetings, and successfully holding the first InnoSTARS Preliminary. UCIS has become an important platform between China and the United States in the field of technological innovation, and has promoted the matching and cooperation between US-China innovation resources and needs. In September 2017, UCIS and InnoSTARS were included in the “First Round of US-China Social and Humanistic Dialogue Action Plan”, which became an important action of the exchange and cooperation between enterprises from he two countries in innovation and entrepreneurship.
2016 UCIS Overview
The first UCIS was co-hosted by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC), US China Innovation Alliance (UCIA) and the International Technology Transfer Collaboration Network (ITTN), supported by 48 institutions, attracting 150 Chinese investors and more than 200 US technology companies, organizing 7 session speeches, 8 special seminars and 300 B2B matchmaking meetings, which led to 43 cooperation agreements. The success of UCIS has built an important platform between China and the United States in the field of technology innovation, actively promoted the matchmaking and cooperation between China and the United States, and promoted the effective integration of American innovative enterprise resources with Chinese capital and market.
